Volume I: Folding map + [14] + 712pp + [xix] index, illustrated with 30 steel engravings; Volume II: 713pp + [xv] index, illustrated with 27 steel engravings; Volume III: 698pp + [xviii] index, illustrated with 29 steel engravings; Volume IV: 780pp + [xiii] index, illustrated with 38 steel engravings. Stylish bookplate (very Rockwell Kent) to front pastedown of each volume and ink signature to ffep of Volume IV. Folding map to Volume I lightly foxed and with a couple of closed tears. Occasional light foxing and handling marks to text and many of the steel engraved plates, with some offsetting to facing pages. Light rubbing to top and bases of spine and corners. A VERY GOOD, HANDSOME SET.
