Library Edition 30 Volumes, complete. 8vo. hardbacks in half tan calf with raised bands, red and green title labels and ornate gilt decoration to spines, marbled boards. All edges and endpapers marbled. All volumes illustrated (by various artists, some named, others not) and the first few volumes have illustrated title pages and frontispieces (as originally published) as well as plain typographic title pages. A clean set with no markings or inscriptions. Bindings nice and firm - most volumes appear to be unread. Very occasional light foxing, mainly to prelims. Slight shelf wear and rubbing to corners of a few volumes. A few small scrapes to surface of calf on upper board of Volume I. A VERY GOOD, HANDSOME SET.
