FIRST EDITION Small 12mo. (approx. 13.4 x 8.5cm) hardback in later binding of quarter dark red calf with gilt rules to spine, and marbled boards. New endpapers. 95pp. with decorative title page. Elegant hand-written inscription to early blank reads: 'Miss H. Mosley July 1828. Presented by her Mother'. Occasional light foxing and handling marks plus small ink stains to pp.94 and 95. Title page and following leaf printed on pale pink paper with slight wear at the gutter and red crayon scribble at top of last pink page (please see photo). Tiny hole to p.7. Very light rubbing to board edges and corners. A VERY GOOD COPY.
