Top edge red. 288pp., profusely illustrated with 16 captioned, tissue-guarded, tipped-in colour plates and many b/w line-drawings. A clean copy with no previous owners' markings or inscriptions. Tissue-guard to frontispiece partially detached but present and small crease to frontispiece plate. Slight foxing to prelims and foredge but generally bright and clean internally. Faint old tape marks to free endpapers. Some fading to red cloth of spine and top 3cm strip of lower board. Light wear to top and base of spine. A VERY GOOD COPY.
